2022 Tiguan new exterior style
Volkswagen is a trendsetter, and for 2022, the Tiguan is getting a fresh coat of paint with new color and wheel options and an update to its already gorgeous styling. There are eight color options in all including the new Kings Red Metallic and Oryx White. Wheels range from 17-inch to 20-inch alloys. You’ll also enjoy standard LED headlights and more with styling cues taken from some of the latest members of the Volkswagen family.

Technology upgrades for the 2022 Tiguan
For 2022, the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit and Car-Net will be standard on all trim levels. Additional features like the Climatronic touch interface, wireless device charging and the new IQ.DRIVE driver assistance suite of features will come standard on the second trim and higher.
Updated trim level lineup for the 2022 Tiguan
There will be four trim levels for the 2022 Tiguan, cutting it down from the five trim levels that are on offer for the 2021 model year. All trim levels will be powered by a 2.0-liter power plant with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque.
When will the 2022 Tiguan be available?
Currently, the 2022 Tiguan is slated to arrive on dealership lots here in the U.S. sometime in the third quarter of 2021.
