Where will the Taos fit into the VW SUV lineup?

The VW SUV lineup is rapidly growing and can get a little complicated. In terms of price, the Taos will become the most affordable VW SUV when it comes out slotting in right underneath the Tiguan. It will also be the smallest VW SUV on offer.

What trim levels will the Taos have?

At launch, there will be three trim levels available for the 2022 Taos. The lineup will begin like many other VW models with the S trim and go up from there with the SE and the top SEL trim. This gives customers three great options to choose from.

How much will the Taos cost?

The base price of the Taos is a very affordable $22,995. This puts it in the realm of affordability for most budgets. If you would like to go up to the SE trim and enjoy upgrades like a SiriusXM satellite radio system, forward collision warning, wireless phone charging, and more, the MSRP starts at $27,245.

The top SEL trim level adds more features with an illuminated grille, a 10.25-inch display, dual-zone climate control, high beam control, and more. This top trim level starts at $31,490. Additionally, both the SE and the SEL trim can get a panoramic sunroof for a $1,200 premium on the MSRP.

How much does all-wheel drive add to the MSRP of the Taos?

All-wheel drive is available on all trim levels of the Taos for the 2022 model. On the S trim, 4Motion AWD will raise the MSRP to $25,040, and the SE AWD increases the MSRP to $28,695. Lastly, getting the top SEL trim with AWD increases the MSRP to $33,045.
