The engine confirmed to power U.S. 2019 Volkswagen Arteon models is a turbocharged, 2.0-liter with an output of 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system and 4MOTION all-wheel drive. Currently, Environmental Protection Agency fuel economy ratings are not available for the 2019 Arteon.

The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon will be available in three trim levels: SE, SEL and SEL Premium. Standard features found in the base SE trim include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, three-zone climate control, full LED headlights, adaptive dampers, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, keyless entry and ignition and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Aside from its standard features, drivers who purchase the two higher trim levels will be able to enjoy optional features such as a panoramic sunroof, heated seating, a Dynaudio sound system, a navigation system, power trunk release, 19-inch alloy wheels, a massaging driver’s seat and ambient interior lighting.
