The 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan is an SUV that is available in both two-row and three-row configurations. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models, but all-wheel drive is also available. All FWD models feature three rows of seating, while AWD models are available in either two-row or three-row body styles.

The R-Line packages available for certain trims of the 2018 Tiguan have been upgraded into full-fledged trim levels for 2019. Now, drivers can choose between six 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan trims: S, SE, SEL, SEL R-Line, SEL Premium and SEL Premium R-Line. Several options packages, including a Driver Assistance package, are also available.
2019 Volkswagen Tiguan Feature Availability
For 2019, several features have been made available at lower trim levels. 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan SE models now come equipped with an alarm system. Volkswagen Digital Cockpit and Park Distance Control now come standard in the SEL trim. Standard features such as a rearview camera make their return from 2018.
